Join us for storytime with a therapy dog from Creature Comfort. Listen to a few stories and hang out with the dogs! Participants will have a chance to sit independently and read to one of the dogs.

Parents/guardians must remain with their child during this program.

Join Mrs. C for an interactive play session for ages 2-5. Each week we will explore materials such as playdough, finger-paint, slime, water play, and many more. The session is intended for interaction between the child and their caregiver. We may get messy, so dress appropriately.

Due to the popularity of this program, we are now offering two sessions of the same program; 10 am and 10:45 am. When registering, please select one session. Registration for both sessions will result in cancellation. If this session is full, please register for 10:45 am.

A valid library card is required for this class. Please register each child individually. You may use the same card number for each child.

Earth Day Seed Bombs for Kids

Join us for a special Earth Day activity! We will be making wildflower seed bombs. What are seed bombs? A mixture of clay, dirt, and seeds that you can throw in your yard and they will bloom into wildflowers!

Marsha is a retired middle school Art Teacher of 20 years. A former art business owner, summer camp director, mother and grandmother with a passion & joy for painting and teaching!

We provide the supplies & instruction you need to create a beautiful picture and you can enjoy this fun evening from the comfort of home. You will need to provide your own brushes.

You will be notified to pick up your supplies a few days before the class.

Classic yoga postures along with deep breathing will be used to reset, renew, and unwind. Take the time to take care of yourself!

My First Book Club

Join us for My First Book Club! Each week, we will read a chapter and do an activity together. In between meetings, your child (with or without assistance) will read a few chapters at home. Each child will receive their own copy of the book at the start of the first meeting.

This month we will be reading, The Miniature World of Marvin & James by Elise Broach.

In this Masterpiece Adventure, the first in a companion series for younger readers from bestselling author Elise Broach, James is going on vacation for a week. His best friend, Marvin the beetle, has to stay at home. Without James to keep him company, Marvin has to play with his annoying cousin, Elaine. Marvin and Elaine quickly find themselves getting into all sorts of trouble―even getting trapped inside a pencil sharpener! Marvin misses James and starts to worry about their friendship. Will James still be Marvin's friend when he gets home or will James have found a new best friend?

For children ages 5-8. Registering for the first date will register you for all April Book Club dates. Children will participate in book club independently, but parents must remain in the building.

Our instructor Kevin Kuo's teaching has been approved by the California acupuncture board. Kevin has also been invited by a well-established Chinese medicine school (Whitewater University) in California to give 1 day lecture about qigong and meditation.
