This week, we will be making a Spring Life Cut and Paste scene.

Please register every child who will be making a craft so we can ensure that we have enough supplies. You do not need to register the adults. Parents/guardians must remain with their children during the program. Craft is suitable for age 2 and up.

For grades 3-6. Please register all children participating separately. Parents must remain in the building during the program.

In the United States, Cinco de Mayo has evolved into a commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage.  One of the most famous forms of mosaic art in Mexico is Talavera tiles, which originated in the city of Puebla. These handcrafted tiles, adorned with intricate patterns and vivid colors, soon became an essential element in Mexican architecture, especially in churches, haciendas, and public buildings. 

The project will need to be left at the library overnight to dry.  You may pick it up anytime the following week.

This week, we will be making a Butterfly Shape Craft.

Join us for My First Book Club! Each week, we will read a chapter and do an activity together. In between meetings, your child (with or without assistance) will read a few chapters at home. Each child will receive their own copy of the book at the start of the first meeting.

For emerging readers ages 5-8. Registering for the first date will register you for all Book Club dates for May. Children will participate in book club independently, but parents must remain in the building.

Grab your little ones and get creative with Mrs. C. Parents must assist their child during the program. Program is for children age 2-5.  Registration is required. Please register each child individually so we can assure we have enough supplies.
